Welcome to Amici dell’Aikido in Treviglio

Our educational website promotes Aikido through the passion and commitment of the Amici dell'Aikido amateur sports association, with the aim of spreading knowledge and encouraging participation in courses in the province of Bergamo.

Our story

Amici dell’Aikido was founded in 2013, the year in which the transition from an Aikido school – the Tadashi Abe – to an amateur sports association, Amici dell’Aikido, took place.

Thanks to the dedication of our instructors over the years, Amici dell'Aikido has achieved remarkable results, becoming a point of reference for practitioners in the Lower Bergamo area and surrounding areas. We have also contributed to important social initiatives, including bullying prevention, support for disadvantaged children in schools, and the creation of specific Aikido courses for early childhood, children, and adolescents.

Our philosophy

“We are against pseudo-gurus and in favor of sharing and sympathy.”

We consider Aikido as a bridge connecting Japan and Italy, which through its approach allows us to address and put body and mind into motion.

The greatest aspiration of every teacher is to instill in their students the desire to become teachers. Not copies, of course, but independent and creative individuals, capable of self-regulation and decision-making.
